1. Contraption (290) - a machine or device that appears strange or unnecesarrily complicated ,and often badly made or unsafe.

2. Gallant (291)- brave; heroic

3. Haints (297)-  wasn't found in dictionary but want to know what it means.
4. Repertoire (293)- a kind of dance.

Irish people have their own repertoire.

Gangsters have their own gait.
5. Lectern (294)- a bookshelf
Middle English (leck-turn)
Library's have lecterns.
